April 2008

Hope you are enjoying some of the nice weather we have been having, especially if you live in the Mid-Atlantic.

I'm really looking forward to the rest of spring and the start of summer. I've started the recording process for my next CD. Which means, writing new songs and recording demo versions on my new Mac. I will be sending links to listen to throughout the process. I also have a cooking video I did for a competition for a TV show. I will be showing that soon as I find out if I made it or not. It very cool..I made Eggplant Parm.

On the gig front...
I'm playing "Beseme Bistro" 142 Second Street in Lewes, every Sunday starting tonight 6-9. It's a wonderful restaurant with amazing food and awesome wine list. Put it this way..."It's my kind of Place"

2 Wednesday's in June, I'll be in Wilmington Delaware at Deep Blue Bar & Grill  111 W. 11th St  Downtown.
I play from 5-8. Happy Hour...Again another very cool place..
I had one of the Best Ahi Tuna Dishes I've every had. Chef Julio is an amazing culinary artist.

Every Thursday at JD Shuckers...6-9
Should be a great time..If you want a seat, get there early.

Also I just found out I'll be at the new Hawaiian Surf Bar Nalu in Dewey Beach on Coastal Hwy across from Ruddertown, every Friday Happy Hour 5:30-8:30/ Saturday 12:00-3:00. That starts "The Grand Opening Weekend" of April 25.
Also check out next store at Ponos, a Fine Dining Hawaiian Restaurant. We had a wonderful dining experience last week... what a cool place!!!!! Owner Regan Derrickson, has created 2 absolutely phenomenal places.

And of course...In May I'll be back to The Globe in Berlin MD. Jen & Greg and the gang have a killer Restaurant in The Historic District. Brook is one of the most talented Chef's around. I definite must...It's the closest thing to playing a concert I experience.

Can you tell I'm a foodie...

February 2008

What a fun month it has been!!!!!
Two successful trips to Florida & North Carolina. Successful meaning, great shows and golf. I had a blast at all of my gigs including Pisces Rising in Mount Dora FL. Anney the owner is very cool and treated me wonderfully. The Grape in Orlando and Charlotte were also fun, thanks to Chuck and Gabriel. And Teri & Jennifer at the Wine Room have a beautiful place in Concord NC.
Then on my return home I played my favs..JD Shuckers, Ocean Pines Yacht Club and The Globe Theater in Berlin MD.
I got to say...what a great gig at The Globe. What a cool place and what a wonderful audience..Thanks to Jen, Greg and Brook from the Globe.
I received so great press this week...
Roger Hillis wrote a very cool article about me living in Delmarva. It was in the DE News Journal and the Beachcomber newspapers. Click Here to Read
Also a wonderful review of Dreamdance was written by Adam Parker for Hot Indie News .com  Click Here to Read

January 2008

It's been a roller coaster of a music career and life for myself. In 2007 I took my things into my own hands and released my solo CD "Dreamdance" which I couldn't be more proud of. The response has been overwhelming, the shear passion I feel gives me chills to this day. I didn't know my music could touch people the way it has.

The future looks brighter than ever. '08 has started out with a bang. Playing my local gigs at JD Shuckers and Casa Dileo have been a blast and over the next couple of weeks I'll be traveling to North Carolina/Florida twice. Good timing if you like to golf like I do.

I'm very excited to be playing the The Grape Wine Bar & Tosco Music Festival in Charlotte NC this week and then onto The Mount Dora Art Festival & Pisces Rising Restaurant just North of Orlando and the Grape Wine Bar in Point Orlando the following week. Check Events page for time and dates.
I've steadily been working on the material for my next CD and hope to have it out by the end of summer. With any luck.....

Whether you are a new fan, an old fan or someone I knew from Bad Company or even before. Please don't hesitate to email me, I would love to hear from you.

TTFN,
Paul Cullen

Many years ago I had a vision and with persistence, passion and desire, it is now complete.
